Getting Started Guide
This guide will walk you through everything you need to do to manage your character, submit news and promos, and write segments for upcoming shows.
Getting Started
- Apply to Join: If you're a new user, your first step is to fill out the application form at /apply.php. This will create your user account and your first character profile at the same time.
- Wait for Approval: Once your application is submitted, an admin will review it. You will not be able to log in until your account has been approved.
- Log In: After approval, you can log in at /login.php. A successful login will take you to your personal User Dashboard.
Your User Dashboard
Your dashboard is your central hub for managing all your content. It shows a quick summary of how many characters, promos, news items, and segments you've created.
- My Characters: View, create, and edit your character profiles. You can update everything from their vitals and moveset to their biography and entrance description.
- Manage My News: Submit news articles related to your character's storylines.
- Manage My Promos: Submit promos for your characters.
- Manage My Segments: Write and submit your segments for upcoming shows.
- Change Password: A simple form to update your account password.
Submitting Content (Promos & Segments)
When you submit a new promo or segment, a notification will automatically be sent to the admin team in Discord. This message will include a direct link to your submission so an admin can review it.
- Navigate to either "Manage My Promos" or "Manage My Segments".
- Click the "Add New..." button.
- Fill out the form. For promos and segments, be sure to select which of your characters it's for from the dropdown menu.
- Use the rich text editor to write your content.
- Click "Add Promo" or "Submit Segment".
That's it! Your content is now in the system and the admins have been notified.
